The idea for Baby Hive arose when Jane and Lizzie met and started to share ideas about the kind of care and support that they believed would make a real difference to families' experiences of breastfeeding and sleep.

At Baby Hive, Jane and Lizzie provide expert care and support for women during pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood. They offer tailored services, evidence-based information, and compassionate guidance to help you navigate motherhood confidently. They aim to equip you with the necessary tools and resources, ensuring you navigate this complex yet joyous experience with confidence.

They understand that this period can be both joyful and overwhelming, and they are dedicated to making a genuine difference in the lives of mothers and their precious little ones.

Jane

  • Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

  • Currently working in the NHS in London as an infant feeding lead

  • 15 years + experience working in London as a Midwife and Health Visitor

  • KG Hypnobirthing accredited teacher

  • Registered Midwife

  • Registered Health Visitor

  • Completed Tongue tie assessment and cutting course with Southampton general hospital in 2018

  • Member of the RCM

  • NMC registered

  • Insured with Holistic insurance

  • Mum to Freddie, Maya & Esme

  • Jane is the co-founder of Baby Hive & runs Baby Hive South London

 

Lizzie

  • Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

  • Holistic sleep consultant, with a Level 6 OCN certification (highest qualification in the field)

  • Currently working in the NHS as a Health visitor

  • Worked in the NHS as a specialist midwife in Infant Feeding

  • 15 years + experience working for the NHS in Wales and in two busy London hospitals

  • KG Hypnobirthing accredited teacher

  • Registered Midwife

  • Registered Health Visitor

  • BN in Adult Nursing

  • Completed Tongue tie assessment & cutting course with Southampton general hospital in 2018

  • NMC registered

  • Insured with Holistic insurance

  • Mum to Lottie & Finley

  • Lizzie is the co-founder of Baby Hive & runs Baby Hive Surrey

 

Emma

  • Midwife on labour ward

  • Registered Midwife

  • NMC registration

  • Special interest in antenatal education and breastfeeding support

  • Currently completing a course to become a lactation consultant

  • Member of the RCM

  • Experience working in Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Manchester as a Midwife in the hospital and community setting

  • Emma supports the running of Baby Hive

  • Currently training to be an IBCLC

 

Founded by Jane & Lizzie, who are Mums to their own growing families,
are Lactation Consultants (IBCLC), Sleep consultants, KG Hypnobirthing Teachers, and together have more than 20 years NHS experience in Midwifery and Health Visiting.
